Children’s Dentistry

What is children's dentistry?
Children's dentistry treats oral pathology in children, both in cases in which there is pain and those in which the pathology has not yet caused acute pain to the patient.

When is children's dentistry necessary?
From the eruption of the first teeth until the patient reaches adulthood. The most common reasons for consultation are cavities, pain due to sensitivity to food and chewing, premature loss of teeth due to trauma, fractures due to falls, and teaching oral hygiene guidelines to the children and their family.
